The history of Iraq, the history of civilization, is being looted and destroyed. For example, the Museum of Baghdad, which contains artifacts which are 7,000 years old, was plundered. Archaeologists are very troubled with the lack of American response to their calls to protect Baghdad's artifacts during the war. They are worried that these priceless historical treasures will never be found.
